HISTORY OF OUR INSTITUTION

                    SPIC Nagar Higher Secondary School was established in 1973to cater to the needs of the children of the imediate vicinity. The sisters of the Holy Cross Congregation of Chavanood were requested to run the school..

                     In June 1989 a committee consisting of representatives from SPIC,TAC and HWP took over the administration of the school from the sisters of Holy Cross. With their dynamic and positive approach the committee plans for the developmant of the institution.

                    Our school was recognized as a High School during the academic year 1976-1977. It was upgraded as a Higher Secondary School in 1990-1991. Our institution has been consistently maintaining cent percent results in the X and Xll std Public Exams. Our students have not only bagged district ranks but a few state ranks as well.

                    The primary aim of the institution is to impart to its pupils sound education and discipline based on moral values. To achieve this, emphasis is made on both academics and co-scholastic activities. The thurst on character building is the focal point in our student formation at all levels.
