RULES AND REGULATIONS




 
1.   Introduction.  ‘SSOSA,  the  SPISchool Old Students'  Association ,  is  a  voluntary organization working as a forum for students who have passed Class-XII from SPIC Nagar Hr. Sec. School, Tuticorin-628005

2.   Policies.   ‘SSOSA th SPISchool Old Students'  Associatio shall be non-political, non- sectarian and non-profit making.

3.   Functioning.  The Association will be working worldwide with its base at SPIC Nagar Hr. Sec. School.  ThAssociation has a Governing Body which is responsible for its day-to-day functioning.
4.     Objectives.

·    To improve and ensure linkage and communication between the school and the alumni, and to strengthen ties amongst ex-students.

·    To  inculcate  the  spirit of  togetherness  and  bonding  by  organizing  events  such  as  General  Body meetings, reunions, annual dinners, tours etc.

·    To encourage and foster the interest of alumni in the present day activities and aspirations of the school.

              ·    To act as a bridge between school and society at National/International level.

5.   Membership.   Any student who has passed Class-XII from SPIC Nagar Hr. Sec. School, Tuticorin-628005, can  become  a  member  of  SSOSA,  subject  to  payment  of  Registration  Charges  Rs.  150  (one-time),  Annual Membership  Fees and acceptance by the Governing Body of the Association Please note that the Governing Body reserves the right to reject the application for membership without assigning any reason.

6.   Governing Body.      The Governing Body of the Association will consist of President, Vice President, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Treasurer and Executive Members, and will decide the rules and regulations required for successful functioning of the Association.  The President, Vice President and Treasurer will be the members of the Forming committee. The Secretary, Joint Secretary and Executive Members will be declared by the members by majority method.

7.   Jurisdiction.   Any dispute pertaining to the Association will be settled under the jurisdiction of Tuticorin court.
